Whitaker LaChance Package Policy Highlights
Minimum annual package premium: $1,000
General Property
Covers buildings and personal property within buildings (including improvements and betterments). Loss valuation options include Replacement Cost, Actual Cash Value and Functional Replacement Cost.
Standard extensions/sublimits include:
- Accounts Receivable: $50,000 limit.
- Valuable Information and Records Cost of Research: $50,000.
- Building Glass Breakage for owned building.
- Extra Expense: $10,000 limit.
- Fences, Walks and Outbuildings: $15,000 per loss.
- Outdoor Swimming Pools: included in form.
- Personal Effects and Property of Others: $5,000 limit per person, subject to $30,000 per occurrence maximum.
- Flood and Sewer Backup: $50,000 limit per loss for all locations damaged within 72-hour period.
- Earth Movement and Volcanic Eruption: $10,000 limit per loss for all locations damaged within a 72-hour deductible period.

General Liability
Up to $1 million per occurrence and $3 million annual aggregate for all liability coverages.
- Primary Legal Liability for bodily injury and property damage arising from Insured’s operations with occurrence or claim-made trigger. Definition of “Insured” includes employees, members, volunteers, trustees and board members. Corporal Punishment included by restriction of intentional acts exclusion. Host Liquor Liability unless regularly engaged in the Sale of liquor to generate profit.
- Sexual Abuse and Sexual Molestation Liability.
- Social Work, Foster Care and Counseling Liability. Can be amended to include Teachers Professional Liability Coverage.
- Medical Professional Liability. Includes occupational therapy, physical therapy and massage. Does not cover medical doctors.
- Personal and Advertising Injury Liability.
- Non-Owned, Borrowed and Hired Auto Liability if there are no owned Automobiles.
- Employee Benefits Administration Liability.
- Fire and Water Damage Legal Liability.
- Medical payments for injuries on Insured’s premises.
Automobile Policy Highlight
Owned, leased, hired and non-owned autos.
- Includes buses, vans and trucks.
- Physical Damage deductibles $250/$500 minimum.
- Rental Reimbursement coverage available.
- Towing coverage available.
- Hired Car Physical Damage available.
- Employees and volunteers as Insureds may be available.
Umbrella Policy Highlights
- Limits up to $25 million.
- Can include excess Professional Liability and Sexual Abuse/Molestation.
Workers Compensation
Directors and Officers Liability Policy Highlights
- Broad definition of Insured includes directors, officers, trustees, employees, volunteers, management, committee members, the organization itself and its nonprofit subsidiaries.
- Employment Practices Liability, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination and Wrongful Termination.
- Fiduciary/ERISA/Employee Benefits Liability coverage available.
